Got to play a little with my Mark. eye shadows today!

Hey girls! I just  got a bunch of eye shadows in the mail today! I can't even tell you how excited I am! Tomorrow I am going to create a look with lovestruck, but before I went to class I put a little gold and green look together. Though I'd share:

It looks pretty good. My camera sucks.  But I put a dark green on my upper lash line and the gold all over the lid.  I think the color names are different in my collection because these colors are all in that super flip it that was on sale. Comparable colors would be I Mark's retro peacock (dark green) stellar (gold) and a highlight color like biscotti or whisper. Now I have a question for everyone. If I made videos, would you watch them? I think it may be better for detail purposes, but I want to know if my subscribers would actually watch them?

Another use for Mark. Color On Line in Wine

Hey everyone,
In an earlier post, I said that I wasn't sure about the Color On Line in Wine as an eye liner. Now I still don't like the color on me as an eyeliner, but I applied it on my lid and it made the most beautiful shade of plum!
Excuse the kinda deer in headlights look. I had been playing with my make up and applying and reapplying, yada yada. I think you can see pretty well in this picture that one of my eyes (looking at it on the screen, the left) and nothing on the right. Now I don't have mascara on (not a big fan of mascara for some reason, but I do use it once in a while) my lashes. I kinda was just like "Hey this is a pretty neat color, I should share it!" The beauty of it all is that you can build it up if this shade is not intense enough for you. You can draw a few lines on your eyelids, blend (it does this nicely) and repeat. I'm just really glad I found another use for this other than an eyeliner. I hope you enjoyed this!

Calming Effect Comforting Milk Cleanser

I have been wanting to do this review for a while, but I really wanted to see the long term effects on my skin first. This is what the product description on the Mark website states:
If you're looking for your comfort zone try this soothing, soap-free cleanser that treats delicate skin right with a nourishing milk complex, plus bananaand oat milk protein to help calm, comfort and nurture skin’s best assets.
6.7 fl. oz.
oil-free • non-comedogenic • fragrance-free

When I first used this, even though it says fragrance-free, I was expecting some banana smell. True to the statement, there is no banana smell! This is good for people who are  sensitive to fragrances. So what does it smell like? It does smell like something, kinda like if you smell oatmeal before you eat it. But it is not a strong smell. I have been using this for a couple weeks in the morning and I find it the perfect gentle cleanser to remove oils that have built up on your skin overnight. Also, I have a really annoying dry red patch on my face that I can't get rid of. This cleanser hasn't irritated it and it does feel moisturized after use. What I like to do is apply the cleanser on my face, leave it on while I wash the rest of my body and then rinse. I feel like this gives my skin time to soak in the banana and milk protein. At night I use Olay foaming cleanser for sensitive skin, which I will never stop using because I find it gentle, yet effective in removing all my makeup. Comparing this cleanser to my Olay cleanser, they are about the same consistency, which is very nice in my opinion. It is creamy but it suds up nicely. The Olay foaming face wash foams up a little more, which i feel is nicer to remove makeup. But I really do like the Mark. cleanser for the mornings to keep my skin soft and oil free. I plan on ordering the full size when I can. Let me know what you think about it!

Mark. Eye Marker in Enchanted Forest

Hello everyone!
Today I wore the Mark. eye marker in Enchanted Forest. I feel like this color looks much better on me than the wine.

I am wearing the the eye marker with my favorite gold eyeshadow. I have it on the top lash line and half of my bottom lash line. In my opinion, the green color looks much darker in person. This was the best picture I could get :(. Anyway, I LOVE it!!!  This color is perfect for me and goes so well with my gold! Jen likes. Perhaps the wine looks better on blue eyes?
